My answers:
*My most prized possession is my pillow. I can't sleep properly if I don't hug my pillow. I even bring it when I go out of town and it is a little bulky because it is larger than the average pillows but I don't care. As a matter of fact, my partner is a little jealous about it. He even told me that one of these days, he will just going to burn it. Hahaha. Maybe it is because I told him jokingly at several times that my pillow is more important than him.
*I am going to be hard to define beauty but here is my version. My definition of beauty is something that appeals to one's senses. One doesn't need to be heavily made up to be beautiful. Sometimes less is more. One person's perspective of beauty is very different from another one.
*The makeup item that I would recommend is CoverGirl Lash Blast Mascara. I love this product because I don't get raccoon eyes and it stays long. Even at the end of the day, my lashes are still curled (if you know what I mean).
*My favorite kind of make up is mascara. I feel bare if I don't use a mascara. I can't go out of the house without using a mascara. I feel beautiful when I use mascara. It gives me an illusion that I have longer mascara.
*A weird fact about me is that I learned beautifying at a late age. Actually I started learning about make up and all that at the age of 27. When I was young too I celebrate my birthday 3 times (at my class, with family friends and with my playmates).
*My fondest memory during childhood is when I am taken cared of by my dad. He is a contractor so there are times that it will be weeks before we saw each other again. He will do my ponytails and he cleans my ears. I feel so loved when he is doing that.
*I'm an asian drama addict. I look though on the outside but very sensitive inside. At first my closest friends even thought that I am so tough but once they get to know me, they knew that I am soft actually.

Sorry for not updating for so long...

So sorry guys if I am just updating this blog after a few weeks of hibernation. My family is on vacation here in Philippines and I am just spending every minute of the day as I can with them. I miss them so much especially my brother. They are still here anyway but my siblings are in Cebu (we left them there) so I have a little reprieve.

After a week, I'll be able to update more frequently.

To share you some news, I found that with regards to calling and texting, it is more expensive here in the Philippines compared to Japan. I thought it was more expensive there because of the high standard of living. My sister told me that for unlimited text for a month, they will just need to load 300 yen (around Php150.00). Unlimited meaning they can use it as MMS or SMS to any network. While here in the Philippines you can have "unlimited text" for Php20/day. It's around Php600.00 for a month. Philippines' "unlimited text" is valid only for 1 network like for Globe to Globe or Smart to Smart only. If I am not wrong, it only constitute SMS messaging, separate charging is applicable to MMS. Their unlimited call is also cheaper but I didn't pay attention when she narrated me this story. (Sorry Hiromi). 300 yen can buy you cellphone accessories or cellphone stickers in Japan. That is the worth of the unlimited text in Japan.

I now conclude that having a cellphone is really expensive here in the Philippines.

FREE Pattern for Nursing Moms

This DK-weight tank top serves double-duty as a nursing bra. A hook-and-eye closure at the top of the keyhole at the front allows the neckline of this top to sit higher than other nursing tanks. Undo this hook plus the closure at the top of the drop-down cup to easily feed your little one through triangular nursing openings hidden inside the cup.

This top features separate sizing for the body and for the bra cups, allowing you to put a D cup on a small body if necessary (isn't nursing great?)

The body of this top is knit in the round in simple stockinette stitch with rolled edge and gentle waist shaping. The bra cups are knit back-and-forth using two-end knitting (see Pattern Notes below) which provides more support and less show-through than a single strand of yarn. The bra cups are also shaped using short-row-shaping. The nursing openings are knit with a single strand of yarn in garter stitch.

Pretty ribbon straps cross at the back and help disguise the nursing function of this top. The straps adjust to help the fit of the top keep up with changes in your milk supply.

This is a perfect project for the expectant mother with an urge to knit - I know, you want to make a blanket or some such for the baby, but between gifts and hand-me-downs, you'll end up with a dozen blankets, and no cute little hand-knit nursing tops.

Two-End Knitting
When working in Two-End Knitting, work with either two balls of yarn, or with two strands from the same ball of yarn (one strand from the inside of the ball, and one strand from the outside). Work in stockinette stitch, working the first st with one strand, the second st with the second strand , then continuing to alternating strands for each stitch, holding the yarn not in use to the WS of the work. (This is just like working two-color stranded knitting with a color change on each st.) The purpose of Two-End Knitting is to achieve a firmer fabric with more body than plain stockinette st.

DIRECTIONS

Lower Body
Using circular needle, CO 172 [188, 204, 220, 236] sts.
Place marker and join to begin working in the round, being careful not to twist. K 86[94, 102, 110, 118], place second marker, k to end.
K 26[26, 28, 28, 30] rows.
Next Round: K1, ssk, k to 3 sts before second marker, k2tog, k2, ssk, k to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1.
K 15[17, 19, 21, 23] rounds.
Work these 16[18, 20, 22, 24] rounds twice more. 160[176, 192, 208, 224] sts rem.
Work even until piece measures 10[11, 12, 13, 14] inches. (Unroll edge when measuring.) Break yarn.

Elastic Casing
VERY, VERY IMPORTANT: From this point on, the sizing is for cup sizes A, B, C, D, and DD. Make sure you are working the correct size.
Place 90[98, 106, 114, 122] sts from front and sides (45 [49, 53, 57, 61] sts on each side of center front) onto a stitch holder, removing markers.
Reattach yarn to rem sts (back sts).
Work 6 rows in stockinette stitch. BO these sts.

Bra Cups
NOTES:
- This section is worked entirely in Two-End Knitting, unless otherwise indicated. Directions that instruct you to k or p a certain number of sts, mean to k or p those sts in Two-End Knitting.
- The first st of all RS and WS rows is slipped purlwise.

Place held sts on needle. With WS facing, join 2 strands of yarn to begin working in Two-End Knitting, changing needle size if necessary.
P 26[29, 32, 35, 38], place marker, p 38[40, 42, 44, 46], place marker, p 26[29, 32, 35, 38].
The next row will be Row 1 on the Short-Row Shaping Chart (see below).

Begin Short-Row Bust Shaping
To work short-row bust shaping, find your cup size in the chart below.
When working a row with short-row shaping, k to first marker, k indicated number of sts past first marker, w&t, p to marker, p same number of sts past marker, w&t, k to second marker, repeat short rows as for first marker. Pick up wraps as you encounter them and work it together with the st it is wrapped around. When a row has no number indicated for your cup size, work that row without short-row shaping.

IMPORTANT: Read through all remaining Bra Cup directions before proceeding!

Yesterday, I was trying to log in to my yahoo messenger account and I wasn't able to. Then I tried checking my yahoo email ad and I got a message saying that my ID has been compromised. I had to change to password and all that. Maybe this is the reason why my cousins and friends are asking me if I am using Acai Berry because they received numerous messages from me saying that I lost weight because of Acai Berry wherein in the first place, I don't even know the color of Acai Berry. I just hope that this won't happen again. I hope we can do something to prevent this from happening again.

Before I did online jobs, I first ventured in PTCs. But when I was already earning in online jobs, I sort of neglected my PTCs. I only remembered again PTCs when I have scarcity of assignments in Odesk. I recently rejoined PTC during my spare time. This was the time when I have so many free hours because of scarcity of Odesk assignment. Hence, this is my second take with PTCs.

Before I joined the sites, I first research and research if they really pays and if they are scam. I will post only the two sites who have already paid me. Imagine, there are sites that pay $.0001/click. I think it is not worth the effort.

Hourly rate increase in Odesk

The past 2 months, I had a difficulty in having new projects in Odesk. That is why 2 weeks ago, I decided to lower my rate from $3/hour to $2/hour. After applying, I immediately got a response from the buyer. He first asked me if I want to work on his project since it is for guns and ammunitions. I said that I am willing to work and he immediately gave me the instructions. Then after reading the instructions, I reiterated to him my understanding of the instructions and asked some questions that I have. In all my projects, I always do this. I don't want to bill hours to my buyers when the work I am doing is wrong. He was very happy with me and decided to give me 50 hours a week. Since his payment is not yet confirmed, I decided to research a little bit about guns and ammunitions so I have a general understanding on what I am doing.

After a few days, he was confirmed and I then started working on the project. When doing online jobs, you need to be resourceful. Don't ask "common sense" questions to buyers because they might get irritated if you are bugging them with simple questions. We must understand that they are also busy.

Then today, I received an email from him. He said that "originally you posted $3.33 for this job and I see you are only being billed at $2.22. I have seen a way to pop in a raise somewhere but don't recall where. I will make sure to balance this out somehow." I was like ecstatic when I read this. Then I gave him the instructions on how to increase rate in Odesk. In a matter of minutes, he changed my rate. Here's the screenshot.

But wait, I received an email again and would you believe my buyer also adjusted the work I did.

I guess this is the result of my prayers. I prayed hoping that I will have a generous buyer and Thank God.

The problem I am having right now is how to allocate my time. Because aside from Odesk, I also have an online job outside of Odesk. I'll make a post on it later. I am planning on giving it to other providers.

I've been thinking to consolidate all my blogs into 1 blog. At first, I thought this isn't possible because I haven't encountered blogs that talk "everything under the sun". But good online friends told me otherwise.

In the past, I wasn't able to update my blog regularly. The number 1 reason is the unavailability of time but I guess I'll just think of a way to have an allocated time for updating my blog. The other reason is the limited topics that are connected with the original entries of this blog.

I am still a newbie when it comes to blogging and I just want to research first before I plunge in to anything. But if in case I will consolidate all my blogs, the topics will focus primarily on earning opportunities especially online. Every once in a while I might delve on topics on health & beauty, products I recommend, budget tips, experiences in the past.

I am having a difficulty on thinking of a unique blog name. Any suggestions are welcome.

Update on Odesk job

It's seems like forever since I last updated this blog. Sorry for not posting sooner. I was quite busy with my online data entry job, managing homebased business (smart link cards, eloading business, scrap business and assisting my parents on their business based in Japan (computers, electronics, ships).

I read in a couple of forums that some people are sceptic with online jobs. They say that online jobs are scams. I know for a fact that there are numerous sites promoting as online job sites that ask for joining fee/membership fee. But I understand their scepticism but I know that ODesk really pays and they don't ask joining fees. I wouldn't recommend anything unless I have tried it. And for that reason that is why I decided to check my total earnings in ODesk.

Below are the screenshots of my earnings. I didn't realize that I have earn this amount already. I didn't know that it is possible to earn an amount like this just by staying at home.

Earnings with Odesk transferred to Unionbank EON

I started on this project on July 16, 2008. As of today, I earned a total of $886 for this project alone and still earning.

First transfer from PayPal to EON

I wasn't able to check my blog for a few days even after my earnings were credited to my EON card because I have so many assignments in ODesk

My earnings were credited to my EON card last July 14. It took 5 days to be transferred. That is great for only Php50.00 charge.

Withdrew funds from Odesk

I now have funds in ODesk available for withdrawal. I already have my Odesk Payoneer Debit Card but I decided to withdraw via PayPal. I didn't use Odesk Payoneer debit card because of the following:

Card activation fee $9.95
Monthly account
maintenance fee $3.00
ATM withdrawal
-outside US $ 2.15 +up to 3% of transaction amount

Card activation fee is a one time fee-when card is first loaded.
ATM withdrawal fee is on a per transaction basis.

I decided to transfer my funds from ODesk to PayPal. In just a few seconds, my funds were transferred from ODesk to PayPal. The fee of the transfer is $1.00. Here is the screenshot.

When my funds are transferred to PayPal on the same day, July 9, 2008, I transferred it to my Unionbank EON account. The fee for this is PhP50.00 ($1.00=PhP45.00)

I received an email from PayPal that it will take approximately 5-7 days before my money will be credited to my bank account. I'll just wait and keep you posted once I receive my earnings on my EON card.

Unionbank EON Card

It took me a long time before I got a hold of my EON card. I applied online last May 11. It is said that after 5 banking days I will be able to have my card. I went to the branch office of Unionbank last May 16 and my card is not yet available. The bank representative told me that they are encountering problems with VISA. He told me to call them from time to time. I called them on May 26 but the card is still not available. Then I called them once a week until June 27, friday. When I called them last June 27, I was very happy when the bank representative told me that my card is now available. I immediately went to the branch bank and I paid the annual fee of P350.00 and deposited P150.00. The bank representative told me to check if my account is activated by next week. She told me she still need to send my documents to their Cebu branch because they are the branch who is in charge of all EON cards. Then I tried checking my card last July 2,Wednesday. When I was able to check my balance, I immediately changed my PIN number. As soon as I got home, I applied for a cyberaccount. I thought my cyberaccount will be activated after 2 bankings days but friday came and my card is not yet activated. I read in Pinoymoneytalk that your card will be blocked if you change your PIN number before you use the card for any transaction. I was anxious by then. Then I wrote to Unionbank about my issue. But everyday after that, I check if I can access my cyberaccount. Then on Monday, July
7, I can access my cyberaccount. I was really happy. Then after a few hours I was able to add my EON card to Paypal. After a few minutes, I was able to have the EXPUSE number and then at last I was able to verify my PayPal account. I am now a VERIFIED PayPal user.

GetAFreelancer I was paid $131.00 in captcha for a month. You can earn more if you have more knowledge on computer programs, web designs and the like. Signing up is free. You can select which job you would like to apply.
